i've just started to contact people for hair/makeup trials and i'm so confused! should i do trials with several people and then decide who to book or just do a trial with one person and go from there?? TIA!!

it isnt cheap to go to a few different people.. i sure as heck cant do it.. but its your choice!! just try and find someone that is highly recomended!

go to where you feel comfortable first.. i had one hair trial and she nailed it! save the money on all those trials!

I just had my first trial and was very happy with it, but I am going on one more just to make sure it's what I want. Also, the 2nd trial I set up, they are significantly less $$ than my my first trial for day of, so I'm trying them out to see how they compare to the first.

I had 3 trials for both make up and hair.
See what you like first and go from there. I wound up booking my last one w/ the 3rd trial.

i would start with one...if you end up loving them and how your trial turned out, you can book them without looking any further. it's really a matter of preference. i had one trial and decided i wanted to try out somebody else. that way i have two places to choose from. the first trial went fine, but i wanted more options.

thanks girls! so far two people i've contacted are available on my date so maybe i'll do trials with both of them and see how i feel. i'm not too picky about my hair in general but i do have a 'vision' for my wedding day so hopefully i can achieve that look! thanks for all of your help!

i had like 7 makeup trials before i found raquel from maximus. she was amazing!!!! i just kept getting trials and taking pics and comparing them. there was no comparison with raquel though. tell her michelle sent u. shes in the merrick maximus.

i dont have the $$$ for more trials anyway haha

im going to have a few trials. im very picky and want my hair and makeup perfect for my wedding day so i will def need a few trials! also want to try the airbrush look and reg makeup

I called many people to get their prices and to see their portfolios. I chose the 2 that I liked the most and did the trials with both.
