muncipial shelter

There is a Border Collie/Spaniel mix (Female, 1-2 yrs. old) at the Town of Babylon Animal Shelter (West Babylon, NY) brought in as a stray, that is in danger of euthanasia. Border Collies do not do well in a shelter situation and she is not showing well in the kennel. They were going to put her down, but a kennel worker has gotten a reprieve temporarily and she is trying to show this dog outside of the kennel. This dog needs a rescue or foster home as soon as possible. Once out of the kennel she is a very nice dog. Please see her photo on Petfinders under Town of Babylon Shelter in New York. Her ID # is 88077. She is in cage 70. The phone number there is (631) 643-9270. Please give this dog the chance that she deserves.

Thanks,
Barbara

Passed this info on to my mom to see if she could send e-mail to all the people she knows. Her list is pretty long. I have a border collie and wish I could have another but I'm not even supposed to have the one dog I've got and moving to another apt going to be enough trouble as it is. So sad for the puppy

thank you so much!! the more people that are informed, the better!!!

I wish I could help - but my co-op is too small for my terrier
