Cubanbride inspired me to start a thread on mushy moments of the holiday season. For many of us this Christmas is special because it is the only christmas we will enjoy as being an 'engaged couple'. So share your cheesiest moment with us!!
Here's mine: We were going through old stuff to see what we wanted to throw away or salvage. Well I found a christmas stocking that read 'Jenn and Chris, our 1st christmas together 1998' I almost started to cry!!!

Re: Mushy moments of the holiday season!
Great thread :) We could all use some happy moments..I know my work day is BLAH already :(
*Last Christmas we decided to go our separate ways b/c we had been traveling so much and thought it would make life easier for me to be on long island and him to be in NJ...
On Christmas Day FH called me to ask how my christmas was going...saying how much he missed me....then all of a sudden i turn around and he is standing in my living room...he had driven 2 hours to be with me and my family for the day b/c he knew I was sad about not seeing him.
It is my favorite memory to date...meant the world to me.

Re: Mushy moments of the holiday season!
Last Christmas I was only dating my FH three months when he flew into NY on the 26th to meet my family for the first time. It was also my birthday. What was really amazing was that I also had the flu and was really sick. I was in bed while my FH hung out with my family. I think I knew he was the one when he dealt with all of that with a smile.

Good thing FH doesnt read this site because he'd kill me.
We went saturday to book Tommys Tunes and they showed us the wedding preview video they showed a clip of the ceremony and I looked at my FH and there was a tear coming out of his eye...used the excuse that it was allergies. I wanted to get up and squuuuueeeeezzzzze him! lol

I don't celebrate XMAS, but I know this New Years will seem different...it will be our last one as a single couple. I think that will be special.
