I am usually an alt rock/indie or heavy metal or old school new wave/80's pop music fan. But there are 2 songs that I can't stop listening to right now and they are not at all what I normally listen to.

Akon 'Apologize' and Kanye West 'Stronger' - I seriously just want to dance when I hear these songs.

They both make me want to dance. I want to get married again so I can dance to Stronger.

I am pathetic.

my father is a music snob (he is a jazz musician)

I grew up with him telling me what 'good' music was, versus what ****** musically.

I have an extremely varied musical library.

I feel that any music that allows you to feel something, or brings something out of you is good music.

Akon owns a diamond mine in South Africa and denies the existence of conflict diamonds saying, 'I don't even believe in conflict diamonds. That's just a movie. Think about it. Ain't nobody thought about nothing about no conflict diamonds until the movie came out.'

He also had a previous occupation as a drug dealer but states that he has never used drugs. He also said that in spite of his previous criminal history, he has turned his life around, as sung in 'Tired Of Runnin''.

Smack That makes me want to scratch my skin off. I don't know anything else that he sings except apologize. And I like it. But after reading some of this stuff about him I do not like him. And I am glad I did not pay for his album or his song.

I did buy Kanye's album though. Even though he is a brat.
