Just wondering if anyone has booked Music by Michael and what were your thoughts?

We used music by michael and he was terrific! Exactly what I wanted out of a DJ. He had an elegant approach, and really went above and beyond at our wedding! He customized everything to our requests and even his brief talking between songs was personal to us. He is a class act all the way! If you need more info FM me. Good luck!

We just booked him this week. We felt so comfortable with all the excellent reviews on this site that we did it all by phone and mail, without even meeting with him. (We live out of state.)

I used him for my 1/3/04 wedding and he was fantastic. So professional, great music selections. Guests were raving about his style and professionalism.

We booked him too...I liked that I could tell him what I wanted him to play...but we have chosen about a quarter of the songs and are leaving some room for him to play his own stuff.
Did anyone also do this and what did you think of the his choices?

To those who have responded, thank you all so very much. He does seem very nice, and willing to go above and beyond the call of duty.
My only concern is that he is so far away from me. I expect to check him out, though.

We are using him also. He was the first and only DJ we met. I was very comfortable with his professionalism and his expertise. I did a search, and turned up nothing but positive reviews.

Sounds like alot of ppl booked him. Can anyone give me his website, phone number? I would like to check it out.
Once you book him he gives you a password into his database of songs where you can put you 'must plays' and 'Do not play' selections
Our list wasn't too extensive so he chose a lot of the music himself and his choices were great.

Do not worry about the distance. He was so worth the trip that FH and I made from Queens. We spent about 2 hours with him and didn't bother looking at any other DJs. Booked him on the spot. I can tell you that if you do book him, you will not regret it. Although this is a business for him, it's not his sole means of earning an income, and he's not out to hook you. He is who he is, and you either click with him or you don't. I love that he looks at an available date as an extra day to spend with his family rather than lost revenue.

We booked him, we had heard such great things about him, and he when we looked at his website and called him, it seemed like just what we wanted. We booked him sight unseen, and honestly with his database, and what not, since we are in Atlanta, we might not meet him before the wedding. but he is great to work with!
