Music for an Afternoon Wedding

Hey Everyone..

Now that I know my wedding is set for the afternoon.. I have a question.. What type of music do you normally hear at these weddings? My FH says that any type of music could be played, and dancing etc. would be fun. I'm not sure. I know it's usually the brides duty to get people on the dance floor but me and my FH are not big dancers any suggestions???

I am having an afternoon wedding and we will be playing music that you would hear at a evening wedding. If you guys aren't dancers, i would let your dj/mc know, it could be put on their shoulders to get people up...JMO

Our wedding is in the afternoon, too. I didn't know that time of day affects what kind of music is played. Dancing music is dancing music as far as I am concerned. Same songs to dance to regardless of time of day.
