Music for ceremony and reception (updated)

I am looking to mix all different types of music into the wedding (including rock, hip hop, r&b, dance, 80's, etc.). I need some suggestions...PLEASE!!!

BRIDAL PARTY/BRIDE DOWN THE AISLE
I am not sure what I should have the bridal party walk down to, or what I should walk down to. Maybe some classical??? But I am not sure what. And, I can't do Pachelbel's Canon (even though I love it) because I walked down to it at my first wedding...grrrr.

I was thinking maybe having the bridal party walk down to a slow rock song or instrumental of a rock song and then me coming down to something classical. I just can't come up with ideas for either.

UP THE AISLE
Then for up the aisle I want something fun. So far these are my 2 choices, but I am open to more suggestions:
1) Grease - We Go Together
2) Mariah Carey - I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time.

BRIDE & GROOM ANNOUNCED
Then we have the bride and groom being announced. I have come up with these 3 songs, but open to more suggestions:
1) Crazy in love by beyonce
2) Let's Get It Started by The Black Eyed Peas
3) No One Like You - Scorpions

FIRST/SECOND DANCE
I have a lot of first song options. We will just have to listen to them again and pick one. I also want a second song. Something to get everyone dancing. No idea what song though. Here are my 1st dance options so far (not in any particular order):
1) Christina Aguilera - I turn to you
2) Nick Lachey- This I Swear
3) Keith Urban - Making Memories of Us
4) Lonestar - Amazed
5) Mariah Carey - My All
6) Edwin McCain-Could not ask for more
7) Eric Benet & Tamia - Spend my life with you
8) Barbra Streisand - I Finally Found Someone

FATHER/DAUGHTER DANCE
Heartland - I Loved Her First

MOTHER/SON DANCE
I asked his mom to suggest a few, but she hasn't. grrrr

Thanks in advance for your suggestions/help.

Mother/ Son dance: My Wish by Rascal Flatts
Do I Make You Proud: I think that this is sung by an American Idol singer.

Entering the ceremony (procession):
Chasing cars by Snow Patrol is beautiful as an instrumental

First Dance:
FH loves Keith Urban Memories of Us
I love baby Face: Everytime I Close My Eyes
Compromise: Always be Right There by Bryan Adams.

Thats what I can share.

Funny...I just read your response now, but yesterday my FH and his mom picked 'My Wish' by Rascal Flatts.

Right now Keith Urban 'Memories of Us' is our # choice.

I love the song 'Chasing Cars'. It is very nice as an instrumental.

This is what we picked so far (but some of it can change):

Down the Aisle Bridal Party
Schubert - Ave Maria

DOWN THE AISLE
Pachelbel - Canon in D

UP THE AISLE
Grease - We Go Together

FIRST DANCE (probably Keith Urban)
Keith Urban - Making Memories of Us
Christina Aguilera - I turn to you
Nick Lachey- This I Swear
Lonestar - Amazed

2nd DANCE (something fast)
You Shook Me All Night Long - Ac/DC

FATHER/DAUGHTER DANCE
Heartland - I Loved Her First

MOTHER/SON DANCE
Rascall Flat - My Wish

INTRODUCTIONS
Black Eyed Peas - Let's Get It Started

CAKE CUTTING
Beyonce - Crazy in love

Re: Music for ceremony and reception (updated)

I hear what you are saying about not wanting to walk down the aisle to the same song.. that might be odd. Here is a list of songs that I found.

“Air on the G Sting” by JS Bach “ Trumpet Voluntary” by Jeremiah Clarke
'Arioso” by JS Bach
Largo from Winter of The Four Seasons, by Vivaldi
Allegro from Spring of The Four Seasons, by Vivaldi
Allegro from Autumn of The Four Seasons, by Vivaldi
Romance by Hummel
“Lara’s Theme” from Dr. Zhivago by Maurice Jarre
“Trumpet Tune” by Henry Purcell
“Claire De Lune” by Claude Debussy
“Love Theme” from Cinema Paradiso by Andrea Morricone
'Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring” by JS Bach
Largo from Sonata in A Major Opus 4 #3 by Corelli
Erev Shel Shoshanim By J. Hadar (Jewish ceremonial-traditional)
“What A Wonderful World” by David Weiss & Bob Thiele
“The Prayer” by David Foster
“Heaven” by Bryan Adams
“Everything I Do” by Bryan Adams
“Stairway To Heaven” by Led Zepplin
“The Look of Love” by Herb Alpert
“Moon River” from Breakfast At Tiffany’s by Henry Mancini
“Here, There and Everywhere” by The Beatles
“All I Ask Of You” from Phantom of The Opera by Andrew Lloyd Webber

There are lots of pretty classical ones. I had debated using Air on G, the instrumental version of What a wonderful world (so pretty), also Trumpet Voluntary is very regal. Take a listen and see if any of these might work for you.

So far I am walking down to Somewhere over the rainbow by IZ. Its so pretty.

Good luck!

I'm most likely having a church ceremony, so I doubt I can have anything contemporary during the ceremony.

I'll have to save my musical selections for the reception.
