Have you asked them? Something I never thought to do w/my dad...then I discovered he had his own ideas re: our dance & I let him pick the song. (which turned out to be his wedding song w/my mom, who is now deceased.)
Since I decided everything else that day, it was nice for me to turn over the reigns. AND it made it more memorable for him.
That's my vote.
