Music Industry Recruiters?

I am not looking for someone who can locate talented people, my DH works in the industry (behind the scenes) and needs to start looking for a new job. I wanted to see if someone could help us find him one down south(not easy since most of the labels and companies are mostly in NY, CA or Chicago).

How sweet of you, thanks. Right now he is in the merchandising side of the business (getting the bands T-shirts into stores like Spencers, Hot Topics, etc. as well as dealing with the bands) but he has also worked for record labels as well. He does Sales/Marketing work. We would love to move to NC but are willing to look at other areas down there. We are dying here in NY.

Dream area = Raleigh/Durham area.

I have gone on all the job websites I could find to narrow it down but there are like none there. That is why I thought a recruiter might help.

You might want to check in Nashville. Every major record label has an office and recording studio there. It is also a really nice city to live in.

Is it all country music labels? He has no country music experience.

Its cool if he does not have the experience, as long as he can handle being around country all day every day...this industry just looks for experience. Let me take a look in all of our resources here.

No, it is not all country. Most of (if not all) of the major labels have offices in Nashville. It is known as a country music town, but a lot of other types record and are found there. Even if it was only country music I can;t imagine that it would be that different.
