Ok, so when the DJ contacts you about providing him with a song list..is it just like for the main things that occur in a wedding...first dance, father/daughter dance..cake cutting..etc...or do you provide him with a list of music for the entire evening...or do you just let him know what kind of music you are interested in and he just plays whatever he thinks suits ur interest?

Its both 'THey want the songs for the specific things, ie. Father/Daughter, Mother/son, first dance, garter and bok if you are doing it, cake cutting etc.
And any other songs that HAVE TO be played

And to add, you can do a specific list.
We are going to give hima couple of must play songs and basically let him go from there.
Me, of course being the sore thumb, i want the electric slide and the YMCA and all that-b/c I miss them at weddings when thye dont get played

Ah ok...so the :'have to be played songs' just get played randoming through the night correct? and then the rest of the music they can pick depending on the type of music I prefer

Correct-our DJ told us that he will not play the HAVE TO be played songs unless we are in the room
