I'm sorry, I asked a similar question a while ago but still haven't made a decision and need to very soon. I'm getting married at Carlyle on the Green next year and FH and I are having a really hard time picking the music just because of pricing and not being able to pull the trigger and commit to a vendor!
We were looking at More than Music (Hank Lane's DJ division), Tommy's Tunes and DanceJock.
I have heard good reviews of TT on the board but haven't heard much about More than Music (is it because they are pricier, which is a negative for us??) or DanceJock?
Also is anyone using live musicians for their ceremony that weren't arranged through their receoption/cocktail music company? If so, from where?
Thanks for all your help. I'm hopeless with decisions!

Re: Music Question
I am using Tommy Tunes, so they are obviously my first choice but my friend used DanceJock and they were great. I have never heard of the other company

Re: Music Question
We used a string trio (vioin, viola, cello) from Capriccio Ensemble. CE has all types of configurations available. There is a lot of classical in the repertoire, but CE is also familiar with a lot of pop and contemporary music as well. Is that what you had in mind? If so, FM me for more info.

Re: Music Question
Thank you both so much. Good to hear good things about TT and DanceJock and so helpful to hear about a separate company for musicians. Thank you!!
