So possibly a stupid question. FH and I started looking at music today and I realized I don't know how this works. Do DJs have access to like very song I could imagine? If they don't have the songs do they get them or do I? Do they need the rights or something or if I give them an MP3 is that enough?
TIA for your help! I don't feel like emailing my DJ if this turns out to be a silly question!

Music Question
I asked if I could just put songs I definitely want on a playlist on my iPod and they said that was alright. Common wedding songs they should have.

Re: Music Question
Usually if it's a popular song, the dj should have it & if you give him your playlist of songs you want well in advance, he should be able to get it through whatever program they use. I would create a playlist of all the songs you definitely want and ask if any of them will be a problem. If anything, you can always make a cd & give it to them, especially if it's an ethnic song (I'm having Russian songs so my dad will make a cd).
