music question for ladies with small bridal parties &/or small aisles

ok- my plan was to have the bridal party walk out to Cannon n D & me walk out to Trumpet Voluntary.

The organist said due the short bp & short aisle, you won't hear much of either song. Not enough to be recognized.

So she suggested we just use 1 of them. I am ok with that, but I kinda liked, the idea of having a change in music so people would know it was my turn
Not everyone knows that I only have 2 girls& no flower girl, they may not be ready for me

Was anyone in this situation? What did you do?

I was in the exact same situation and my organist told me the exact same thing.

Canon in D has some quiet and some loud parts. The organist timed it so that the loud part happened when it was my turn to walk.

At least, I guess so, because I didn't actually hear anything that was played throughout the whole ceremony.

Thanks. I am thinking of going with Trumpet Voluntary. I will have to listen to itto see if there is an obvious part where I should walk out.

We used Trumpet Voluntary for the recessional.
I'm sure your organist can figure out what part of the song is appropriate for you to walk out to - it's not something you should have to do by yourself!

Yeah, I'm thinking of leaving this in her professional hands. I just wanted ot make sure she wasn't giving me bad advice. I guessI'll just tell her I want there to be some diffrence when I enter--even if it is just a little break where she continues to play, but no one is walking down the aisle.

By theway, Congratulations! Didyou ever post a review or pics?I didn't see any thing if you did!

That will be perfect and lovely! (And I guarantee she could be playing Highway to Hell and you'd never even know it...)

I'm still working on a review but I want to scan some pictures first - hopefully this weekend. It was the best day ever!!
