What do you think of those people who sing on the trains...I'm not talking about the random performers, but the ones who are actually sponsored in some capacity by the city...?

I think that they are very talented and it's definitely a great way for some exposure.

I think it's a great way to get some exposure especially if they are legit. Honestly though, I'm so tired of hearing the guy with the fiddle -he plays the same thing over and over again. . . . I just want him to write a new song!

These people annoy the hell out of me.
If I want to see a performance... i'll happily pay for one on my time and terms.
Thank god i don't currently take the subway... don't miss it at all.

There is this one guy that constantly camps out in the Hilton Passageway of Penn Station and plays a recorder, a stupid 3rd grade recorder. What does he play? The theme from the Flintstones, Gilligan's island, etc.
People actually give him money - I want to jam the thing down his throat whenever I walk by.

I don't mind the ones who are sponsored by the city. I rarely stop to watch, but some of them are pretty talented. I feel like they add character to the city and make commuting more entertaining.
