Musically Incompatible Couple

So truth be told my FH and I are living proof that opposites do indeed attract. Musical stylings happens to be one thing we are on POLAR opposite ends of the spectrum on. So I'm asking you ladies for some inspiration/ideas. What are you using for:
-Ceremony BP processional/recessional
-First dance song
-And anything else you've decided!

I know some of you may read this and think, 'This chick is crazy. She has a year for music.' However, since that blissful day in May (the 7th to be exact!) we got engaged we have vetoed OVER 100 first dance wedding songs. Now I'm sure you think I may be being a tad dramatic, but scout's honor, over 100 songs already out the window! Please help us! Lol.

OMG, FH and I are the same exact way!! I've just told him, if he doesn't want to come up with anything good (which he has yet to do), I'm picking because I know I have impeccable taste in music.

FH has vetoed EVERYTHING I offered so far or does the 'it's fine' thing. He's only offered up one alternative. Haha I want to smack him. What are you/ is he looking for?

Girl, Mr.Keating and I re opposites as well. I am a DIE HARD hip-hop head, R&B soul junkie.. and he can listen to it... but he is a folky guitar player.. loves rock.. etcc etc.. I think we have decided for our weeding song to do 'Make you feel my love' by Adele. It is safe and we feel like it compliments our relationship story as well! happy music hunting ;)

Re: Musically Incompatible Couple

we are using the instrumental version of november rain for the BP processional and I'm walking down to the typical wagner wedding processional. for our recessional we haven't decided, but we are doing something fun like jessica by the allman brothers band (FH's favorite band, though i'm not sure if this will come across as egotistical or cute ), wagon wheel, etc.

first dance song we are completely undecided on but it will be mid-tempo and not the typical ballad.

My FH and I are the same way we have started our music list early as well. We are going to do a non-traditional first dance (exact song undecided still). We are both having music we enjoy at the wedding. He says when he doesn't like a song he will be at the bar & he doesn't drink lol.

Try to find a few songs you both like then go from there.
