How do you ensure the musicians you hire for the ceremony will show up? I found a violinist who performs at weddings as a side line. She isn't asking for too much and does not even require a deposit. How do I know she will show up? Any suggestions?
I heard about the pagan thing too, which is what turn me off the unity candle. My church would let us have it if we wanted it though.
Considering that the kids are not drinking at the bar either, it adds up to one heck of an overpriced Chicken McNugget Haapy Meal!!!

Ask her for references...and lots of 'em! I'm in the process of looking for ceremony musicians, too. Not sure how many we want...lol soloist? quartet? Decisions, decisions.
Incidentally, do you know if she works with other musicians? If so, can you point me in her direction? Thanks!

My coworker and his wife had their wedding reception there this past September. They had 200+ guests. He was very pleased! :o)
