My FMIL freaked out today. She wants to be more involved in the planning. How can I make her feel more included without making my mom feel like she is horning in on her area? I feel like I am walking on eggshells around everyone.

Do they get along? Your mom should understand how it is to be getting a new MIL and would probably be receptive to helping you out here.
You could ask both moms to go for one of the fittings.
To pick out invites or put them together
Assembling favors
That sort of thing.

you could go with fmil to pick out her dress..
you when your making decisions you could show her like 3 options you like, ask her opinion, and tell her your decisions...

They get along for the most part but my mom is soooo excited about this and she has been the one that I am bouncing ideas off of.

Re: Must be FMIL night! (Vent)
I haven't had problems with my FMIL as of yet (except for us not asking the OTHER sister to also be a BM) but I can still empathize with your situation. My FMIL offered to make our Ring Bearer pillows. One less thing for me to worry about and she's more than happy to do it. Maybe your FMIL could do a few small things like that -- that perhaps wouldn't make your Mom feel like she's horning in. I also keep my FMIL updated on the wedding plans with periodic emails which seems to make her happy. Just some ideas...
But trust me, I've learned the hard way. The less people are involved in your wedding planning, the BETTER. So you might want to consider limiting it for both of them. Before you know it, all these opinions and unsolicited advice start flying around and you'll feel even MORE pressure to please everyone. Sometimes less is more. Good luck!
