Do we really care what she spends her money on? NO! DO we really care what dress she wears? NO! DO we care how many dresses she really has? NO! I have a 100 questions for this post but in the end none of them were my business unless I wanted to buy one of those dress and it was about those dress ONLY.I almost purchased a dress because it was the last one and discontinued and my wedding was 22 months away - but lucky for me my mom talked me out of it reminding me I have 22 months and so much can change! At the end of the day she is a bride whom like all of us love what we see and want to add it all into our 5 hour day! We even try and tell ourselves we can knowing we cannot! At the end of the day we need to remember unless we are friends off this site we have no clue who are talking to and what their circumstances are and since we do not all come with labels warning of our conditions if we do not like what is posted we have a right to move on and not really care why this lady purchased 10 dresses!

Forget it honestly. I hate the smell of bull$hit. You're ridiculous. I'm done with this whole thread. If anyone believes this that's on them but things don't make sense. No one buys 10 dresses!!! Good luck with selling your dresses. I hope you don't regret the custom one because then you're really screwed.

Thank you girls! I experienced this issue on The Knot and thats why i left there and pulled my advertising dollars as well ( i was a vendor as well, but never talked about it) i refused to be associated with a site that allows the kind of bullying that was going on over there... Anyway.. no worries, I'm a strong women and i know who i am .. The fact that i have so many dresses i think tends to run to the fact that i want what i want and if i want it i get it.. if i buy a dress or dishes or whatever.. and i see something i like better, i will buy that too, just like if i find a shirt i like i will buy it is every color.. When i had multiple apartments, i would buy three of the same, shirt, lamp, dishes, towels, flat irons, hair dryers, ect... so i didn't have to carry stuff each time i stayed at which ever place. ... I'm sorry if that bothers some people.. but that is on them and not really my problem. and i won't apologize for having the ability to be able to do that either.. I bust my butt to have what i have. and in a final note if i want to buy 20 dresses i will.. its that simple...

ETA: i was hoping to help a few brides get a nice dress that maybe they liked but didnt have the budget for.. no worries..

So here is the thing. MrsMango didn't actually call her any names. So... 'name calling' and 'bullying' is really quite the stretch. She was just the first one to vocalize what A LOT of us were thinking.

Having read every post like... twice... I agree that the situation TerrylovesRoy presented us with is ... suspicious.

I think a lot of us ladies jumped on it because there have been a number of people on this site to solicit and almost take advantage of our newly engaged, frazzled from wedding planning vulnerability.

She did also say that she was donating her dresses in another post... so when she posted that she has these dresses for sale... I think we all kind of felt duped. Had she maybe mentioned that she had already donated SOME of the dresses in her OP... the backlash wouldn't have been so 'bullying'.

Personally... I think the excessive amount of dresses is asinine.

Also... lets just realize that everyone may not be far off with their assumptions that she's trying to make a profit on dresses. She said in one of her posts that she bought the dresses at a store that was closing.

If anything... this is gluttony at its finest.

I don't see any one being a bully and I certainly didn't see mrsmango calling anyone names. This is a public site everyone has a right to voice their opinions. My opinion is something smells funny, oh and I believe the thing about multiple apartments like I believe in Santa Claus. Just saying.

It is the reaction and behavior that was concerning. It was like an internet version of mean girl. for all you know she could have a sickness which makes her say and do the stuff she does.....again no one should really care unless it is a direct effect on you.

I wasn't going to reply to this thread but you should really go back and read this thread because the only bully here is you! You called Soon2BeMrsMango rude and told her she was flexing her 'internet muscles'. You can not deny that this is a fishy situation and all she was doing was voicing her concern. You say that we shouldn't care unless there is a direct effect on ourself but aren't we are all here to help each other and that was all she was doing.

Something tells me you should take your own advice. Like I said people are allowed to express their own opinions, yours isn't any more valid than anyone else's. Also I'm sure your opinion of those two ladies doesn't matter to them either.

Ok I really think this thread should just die now.

I understand we are looking out for each other but all this drama and justifying is sooo unnecessary.

Maybe she wanted to wear all the dresses at some point maybe she didn't. Not to defend anyone but I have a total of 5 dresses for my wedding day. No im not balling 4 are rented and one i actually bought. They came offered in my package so im def not turning them down. Its something similar to my engagement photos (if you notice i have 4 different dresses on and none are mine). So just because you dont do it doesnt mean someone else can't or won't.

My point is we are all unique, have different religions and customs. Its her wedding and she can have anything she wants. Thats the point of a wedding. We all have something we are spending a lot on i am sure because its important to us. Maybe for her it is dresses. If you dont like her selling stuff discuss that but dont go calling people a liar and trying to judge and you dont know the woman personally.

If you dont like her story dont buy her stuff and leave it at that. But to go beyond that and say people are this and that is so high school.
Lets stop the hate and kill this thread. Lets go back to being happy for each other cause i prefer seeing that on this forum.

On a side note- terry hun, I don't think anyone is technically suppose to be soliciting on this particular board. Besides i think you would do better on EBAY. Especially if you already had a problem like this on another site.

I didn't realize I was soliciting . I was offering to see if any bride old or young liked the dresses and maybe couldn't afford it at full price and if it was their size then they could get it at a discount. That's fine i wont sell them here however I do see others selling centerpieces card boxes ect.
Also. I NEVER said I bought then at a store that was closing.
ALSO. Yes my biggest thing for my wedding has been my dress. That is the one thing that must be perfect. I won't settle .
