'Must Have' & Standard photo lists

I want to start getting a must have photo list together for the photographer. Any suggestions besides the 'standards'. I really want to get some different pics as well as the standards.

Re: 'Must Have' & Standard photo lists

Just be careful with some of these 'Must-Haves' such as having all the guests tables taken. Some photographers tell you that if you have the tables taken, you will have to use them in your album - it's in the contract (I've seen it). Plus I felt that since we were getting a video, the tables would be panned anyway, so no need to photograph them.

To me, this list is very comprehensive and very good, but almost too long. We gave our photographer some must have shots, but generally let him play with whatever shot he wanted.

Re: 'Must Have' & Standard photo lists

Vicki you are right...but it gives you a strating point. I only had her take our main tables. Just like with you Dj you can give them your songs you would like to hear but you have to leave the creativity in their hands.

Vicki you must use them in your album...how ridiculous is that...

Re: 'Must Have' & Standard photo lists

Please be sure to give a 'must have' list to your photographer but also let him/her know who to go to, to ask questions.

My sister had a must have list but the photographer didn't know who aunt Grace was and so we have no pictures with her.

I have already asked a family friend to 'check-in' with the photographers and let them know that she can answer any questions. I am so neurotic about this.

Re: 'Must Have' & Standard photo lists

I am also having a must-have list, but I am using it mainly for non-standard shots such as my Mom with her 2 sisters. I am also going to print out a few photos that I love and give them to the photographers.

Re: 'Must Have' & Standard photo lists

Does anyone have pictures of MUST HAVE pictures?

I remember seeing the one with the 'THANK YOU' cards and thinking it was sooooo cute.
