Registries have been our minds A LOT lately.. and I would like to know what is ONE item u USE AT HOME that u CANT LIVE WITHOUT/ LOVE/IS VERYYY USEFUL. Maybe its an item some of us never thought to even put on our registry!
SO basically this is a thread praising your favorite kitchen appliance or gadget.
**please do NOT list an item u HOPE to get but have never used**

I am debating getting one. What do you use it for? Does a Magic Bullet do the same thing?

the best home gadget i have is:
Dirt Devil Kone Hand Vacuum
i purchased it at Linens N Things as a Christmas present for myself 2 years ago & it is the greatest item ever. our cat gets the cat litter grits all over the floor & its a breeze to pick up with the Kone. i also use it to vacuum the couch & the car.

Re: *~* MUST HAVES *~*
I have a few.
- My Crock Pot. I didn't get one until last winter (first winter on WW, wanted to make a lot of soups and stews from the program) and I love it. It's so convenient...just throw everything in there and turn it on. Like magic, a few hours later, FOOOOOOD!!!!
- My salad spinner. I don't like bagged pre-washed salads, and this gadget means I'm not wasting paper towels on drying the lettuce after I wash it.
- My Cuisinart Duet Blender/Food Processer. Oh, how I love it. It's great for smoothies, blended drinks, chopping up anything and everything, pureeing...love it. Here's a pic of my baby:

My Magic Bullet - I use it ALL the time to make smoothies!
My Handy Chopper - great for chopping garlic!
And of course....My Keurig! Especially since FH doesn't drink coffee, so now I don't need to make a whole pot just for myself anymore!
ETA: Can't believe I forgot the one thing I use the most......MY GEORGE FORMAN GRILL!!!!!!!!

Rice Cooker!!
When our old one broke we were very sad.
Someone already got us our new one though... it's also a steamer and it's already been put to good use!

I love my handheld mixer ! I use it all the time rather than whipping out the HUGE standing mixer.

my le creuset cast iron pot. I wanted one for so long and I never 'treat' myself to anything. Well I had gift cards and a coupon so I decided to do it. I've used it so much!

My stove
Sorry I don't have a real answer because we are living a pared down life atm...we didn't want to buy anything but the essentials since we have a registry.
I haven't used it yet but someone bought us our crock pot and I'm pretty sure once the summer is over and I start to use it that its going to be my new favorite thing.
