Having a hard time with my fortunoff registry. What are the must haves on a registry, what are the things you definetly need enough of and what are the best brands in cooking, baking, bedding and electronics? I find myself looking at other peoples registry just to get ideas.

Re: Must haves on registry....
Cooking - I'd go with Caphalon
Bedding - there are a lot of good brands, just look at the thread count and fabrics and choose a design you like
Electronics - kitchenaid and cuisinart
Knives - Henkels 4 star
Bath - Ralph Lauren
You should get the Consumer Report's bridal guide - they go over everything!!

Re: Must haves on registry....
I agree with Calphalon on cookware. Consumers Reports rated them the best.
As far as knives, we registered for Wusthof which were also highly rated in Consumers Reports. Before FH and I went to register, I did research on everything, including which are the best appliances, etc...For me it helped out a lot bc there are soo many brands out there.

George forman Grill.. I love how the fat just comes off of the meat.. For pots I recommend the Tools of the trade from macys(very affordable)
I second the Wusthof knives, whatever knives you get they should be 'forged'
If you cook enough I suggest the Kitchenaid Stand mixer
