Ok ladies...so my next task is to choose my headpiece. I went to a headpiece show last night at Bridal Reflections. It was pretty cool b/c they let me try on my dress so that I could see how the headpieces would look. Here's my dilemma....My dress has pearls on the top and down the side (pic is too big to post, but it is in my album)...I'm not crazy about tiaras with pearls on them, but I think that it looked better with my dress. What do you guys think? Can I wear a tiara without pearls or must it have pearls?

I don't think you need pearls..you can get a regular tiara/headpiece and incorporate the pearls in other accessories

I agree your headpiece doesn't need to have pearls on it. You can always use pearl earrings or bracelet.

you can have a tiara or headband without pearls, then you can have pearls in the veil if you want. its your day, you get to wear what you want!

Pick whichever headpiece you LOVE! It will look beautiful with or without the pearls!!

I think if you plain on wearing jewelry with diamonds you can do a tiara with diamonds. I am not wearing a tiara, so I haven't given it much thought, but I think you can get away with something with crystals.
(IMHO, small pearls, like seed pearls would look so PRETTY with your gorgeous dress!)

You don't have to have pearls in your tiara. You can incorporate them elsewhere--your veil, your jewelry...

I think the dress definitely does not require a pearl headpiece.

I had pearls in my dress.
Here is my tiara with some pearls and crystals. I didn't want all pearls either. I got my tiara at Barron's in Tri-County.

You can really do whatever you want.....no need for pearls if you don't like them.
My dress didn't have any pearls on it....it had crystals. However my tiara had pearls on it. I liked it and it worked together.

My dress was lace and pearls, everywhere. It's kind of hard to see in the pic. My tiara didn't have 1 pearl in it. MY DH bought me a pearl necklace and earrings as my wedding gift.
