I think I'm ready to take that big step and start looking at photographers. I've already looked at Patken and Cassarino's.
So far, I've seen alot of girls on this site have reccomended Thomas Paul and from the pictures I've seen posted he does look good. I also want to check out Duet b/c I heard the prices are great.
Any other must see photographers? Especially ones that affordable!!!

Re: Must see photographers
We have appointments with Patken and Cassarinos... We've also seen Sherwood Triart.
We want to look at 12th Night as well.
Edit to add: We'll be looking at Right Angle and Golden Moments too.

Re: Must see photographers
Sorry to crash, but you should go see Spelman (ask for Christine). They are really amazing. It was a little pricier and a little less trendy IMO, so it depends on what you want

Re: Must see photographers
Sherwood Triart is a must see. Even though Shewood's not the cheapest, their work is in the JT book you got and the pictures are phenomenal. We just got back our e-pics and they are great. Brian, our photographer spent over 2 hours with us for our e-shoot and took more than 300 pictures. Also, Sherwood has its own studio so they never send of their work out. Definitely check them out! Also, you are a fellow JT bride so Kevin at ST will take care of you for sure.

Re: Must see photographers
I'd highly recommend Thomas Paul or Duet. TP does AMAZING work. Beautiful photography, a great high for angles and colors, and top notch equipment.
The only reason we went to Duet was because of budget. Duet does similar work and uses five different teams of photographers. Each team has their own style. And their prices are great.

I hate to say this and dont want to be negative...but two friends had Christine at Spelman and didnt love her. Her photos were beautiful, but she was a bit too much to handle. This also could have been because they both had HUGE bridal parties. Christine seemed to get a bit annoyed with everyone.

Re: Must see photographers
I'm using Michael O'Neill in Northport. His quality of photos is amazing but his prices are a smidge higher than others i've seen...but you are definetely paying for quality and his packages he offers. He is also the one that will be taking your photos so what you see is what you get. Only disadvantage is that he doesn't do video (but I wasn't interested in it so it didn't matter to me).
