My 11/09/02 wedding vendor review...(long)

OK so we are back and married for 3 days - we just went out to the Hamptons for a few days - honeymoon to follow...

First NORTH RITZ CLUB - Fabulous, amazing, wonderful, fantastic - get the picture!!! They were so great - not only did they give me everything they promised, they gave me more - I can't even tell you how impressed I was and so were our guests - and the food was incredible - I'm gonna have to get myself invited to a NRC wedding though because we missed the cocktail hour - although the bridal attendant brought us a ton of food. If you are considering NRC - Book them now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wild Rose Video - as expected from all of the wonderful reviews about them - they were great!!!! Obviously we havent seen the footage but Bill was amazing!! Marck did the groom coverage and the church and Bill came to me and the church and reception. They were a class act every step of the way. All my relatives were asking about them.

Mark Kauffman Photography - We had Laura and Drew - Again, we haven't seen the pics yet but they were VERY good. Everyone was asking who they were. I can't wait to see the proofs!!!!

All Star Limo - I know there has been some question about them on this board but let me tell you - I LOVED them!!! My drivers were fantastic!!! They were so attentive to our needs - they took care of everything - I will definitely use them in the future.

Follow Your Heart - Centerpieces, invitations, gifts - WOW!!!! Our centerpieces were stunning!! We had candle and rose petal centerpieces - WOW!!!!!!!!! And they made gift baskets/bags for us - super!!!

Flower Michelle - There is a reason they are the highest rated florist on this board - our bouquets and bouts were magnificent!! Price was great, service excellent.

Full House Music - Full House sounded great. My only regret was that I didn't tell them not to stray from our song list. They definitely played songs that we did not request - but they did sound amazing.

VIP Tuxedos in Syosset - They were fine - one vest had a small stain although the guys noticed it too late to do anything about.

Princess Bridals in Farmingdale - a bit grumpy but the seamstress was good.

Well, we had an amazing day/night - I am so happy the stress of planning is over and now can't wait to see the pics and video!!! I'll post pics as soon as I can.

vamdep - Welcome back! I am so happy you had just a wonderful of an experience as I did! Not sure if you read my review but I said the same thing about getting myself invited to a wedding at NRC. (Fellow NRC brides - hint, hint!)

PS My SIL's b-friend said he met someone who said they lived in NJ and was going to a wedding at NRC the day of your wedding. How funny is that.

OH! I forgot to say that I was in my friends wedding in Jun and we got the dresses from Princess Bridals-one word : NIGHTMARE! Aside from being grumpy as you said-- they messed up our dresses! We all had different tops to our dresses and they switched around two of the tops between my dress & another girl's -lucky for them the two of us were the same size!! Every appointment we showed up for, we were kept waiting--but like you said the seamtress was really nice and good-that was the one positive thing! Sorry, I just had to add that I totally agree with you on that place! I, for one will definetley not be going there for my dresses! Glad it all turned out alright for you though!!

Thanks everyone for your kind words- I have to admit - having a few nights without wedding planning has been nice!!!

The honeymoon isn't planned yet - I'm a teacher so we are going to go during a school vacation - It's something to look forward to!!
