My 1st fitting pics!!! (And I picked up my BM dresses)
My first fitting went great, pretty much. I felt good about my dress when I put it on. Although it did feel as if it was slipping down a bit and like I had to keep hoisting it up. They said theyd fix that. I also had no idea it was a flat fee of $375 for bridal alterations, which I think its total BS. Good thing I gave them a bunch to do! ![]()
Or else I wouldve felt really gipped!
It fits perfectly around the chest and everything. Had to shorten it just a little bit. We did a really simple bustle- just one point, which is what I wanted. One major thing we did was shorten the train.![]()
I know! But...part of the reason I was a little depressed today about the fitting is that, bc of a medical condition, I have muscle weakness and my dress feels really heavy! Its hard for me to feel really stable walking with it so heavy and the train was a big part of the weight so we're shortening it some, but it is still going to be a nice size train.
All in all Im okay, but I was in a funk for a while afterwards. I am so worried about my energy level due to health concerns and about how I will be on the big day, with the weight of the gown and everything. Ughhh.![]()
Pic w/o lace jacket or sash. I won't be wearing it this way. For the reception, I will most likely wear it like this with my sash.
Hate it from the side right now bc my bustier holds me in so good at the waist that it pooches out my stomach at the bottom so I need spanx or something!
This looks kinda messy but this is how my simple bustle will be.
Will be like this for ceremony.
Back view- train was too long to fit in pic. Also, the two loops of the bow of my sash will be pinned so it looks nice and not so messy.
