my 2 am adventure

so yesterday a cricket moved into the basement by my room and started his chirping antics. but he was hanging out in the living room area only chirping once in awhile.

i got up and found him, almost squashed him.. but he escaped behind the tv.

he chirped a few times right before i went to bed but then i didn't hear him again.

this evening i found him by the door and again... was so close to squashing him but he slipped right between my fingers.

he must be mad because he has come into my room and has been chirping for the last hour and he must be close by because its so loud i can't sleep through it.


SO...



with no pants on, at 2 am.... i turned on the lights and start stomping around and moving my dresser and threatening his death...

i haven't heard from him now in 15 minutes. hopefully he's packing his things and going back to the living room.

crazy

so waht's the verdict? is that annoying little sucker gone for good, or did he return?

Crickets drown their sorrows in alcohol too? lol
