Sooo I am making my SECOND wedding gown.. because I have a surprise for him and will be singing a song to him and want to do so in a non huge poofy dress. PLUS, we are re-newing our vows in Antigua and I need a smaller dress for the ceremony.
Anyway, I am thinking of starting the sewing process today and am soooooo scared!!! Picking out the fabric took the last 3 months and I was shaking when I bought it lol. I've made hundreds of dresses, coats, skirts, corsets in the last 15 years but THIS has me a ball of nerves! I'm going a somehwta sexy route.. as is my NORMAL attire. My regular dress is GINOURMOUS and poofy so I'm going with the total opposite fr this and what ppl would expect from me anyway.. Here's my inspiration...

Thank you. I know I can do it of course but this is just THE MOST IMPORTANT dress I will ever make (unless maybe Lady Gaga 'discovers me' one day lol)... I just cut the lining. Gonna make the dress out of the soft cotton first to see the fit and make sure I love it. It's strange not trying on 50,000 dresses to find the right one. Everyone already expected that I was making my own dress.. this is my way of pleasing us all.
