OK, I need help deciding on a bridesmaid’s dress. I’ve gone to several places and have a top 3, all of which are completely different. Can I get some feedback? What do you think about these / what are the pros or cons, if you can think of any / how do you think they would photograph? Anything that comes to mind would be great to hear. Here are links to the three dresses . . . opinions?
i dont think they are special enough for a bm dress.
in my opinion..again..this is my opinion.. i wouldnt want my guests to be dressed fancier than my BMs.
they are all lovely dresses, but i wouldnt choose them for bms.
the 1st one...unless ur girls are thin, the dimples in their butts will show. i knowmine did at my bros wedding lolol

I have to say that I agree w/Barb, (although I'm not sure about the but dimple thing) I mean they are beautiful but I'm really all about the W-O-W factor. So w/that said I would pick #3 & dress it up w/funky jewelry & maybe have a seamstress add some slight detailed bling OR you could have an accent ribbon added.
Just thoughts but I def like 3 the best. HTH!

I see what everyone is saying . . . but I don't want their dresses to be too bridesmaid-y. . . just wanted something simple but elegant. I was thinking I'd like to do something special for the MOH, a broach or something. Argh!!!

I like the first one the best. That is the only one that says 'BM' to me. I think it's pretty and will photograph really well. The second one to me is VERY casual, like backyard BBQ casual. I like the third one, but don't know how well it will photograph. The camera flash on such a shiny dress may make it appear a different color. I like the faille material better, but it reminds me a bit of courderoy which for your summer wedding is a no-no.

I crash you board. I agree with both these posts. I voted for the third one.
But also it depends.... how fancy is your wedding? Where is your wedding?
I have a friend doing an outdoor wedding in a park upstate... in which case something like these dresses (esp the 2nd and 3rd) would be perfect.
If your wedding is very fancy... then it's something to consider that the guests may actually appear more dressed up than your BM's.

Re: My 3 Dresses . . . can't decide!
OK, some details to consider / answers:
1) Our wedding is at the Inn at New Hyde Park, so, I guess its formal 2) My dress has a removable tulle-skirt. The gown itself is alencon lace, so, again, pretty formal 3) The faille material is actually VERY light 4) The caspian blue has a pretty sheen to it that makes it more fancy, but I see how the style and shape could be considered casual
So many things to consider!!!!! Keep them coming though, this is great for my thought process!!!

I would have to say......out of those three, number 1.
But I have to agree with everyone else, I feel they may be too casual for BM dresses, especially considering your gown and the INN.

I agree with everyone else... too casual for my taste... There are alot of simple tea length BM dresses out there that aren't overly done but may still look alittle more elegant and match the rest of the deatils of your wedding, which sound pretty formal... that being said, we all have different styles and if one of these suits you, go for it!!

the first one doesn't have that 'look' of a bridesmaid, it's very elegant and you really could wear it again.

Sorry, but I think they're too casual for me. If anything #1 would be most formal, but can't see what the first one looks like from the front. JMO.

Well I love #1 since that is my BM dress, on the website you don't really get the feel of the material. It is very greecian and flowy. You can't see 'butt dimples' in it since my MOH and SIL both tried it on and they are not super skinny. The material actually flatters everyone as does the siluohette.

If you were set on 1 of these 3 I would say go with #1..it looks the most formal of them all. When I saw they others they didn't remind me of a BM in the least.

If it's definitely out of the 3 I'd go with #1 but IMO I'm not crazy about it.

I have just started looking into BM dresses and have found myself feeling that same way- check out WToo- they have some dresses that are not that of a stereotypical 'Bridesmaid Dress'. Plus, they aren't crazy in price. I also like your idea of choosing something simple and dressing it up with a broach.
