my 6 year old daughter

My daughter will be 6 in August and she is super, super sensitive lately and I don't know what to do about it.
She cries at the drop of a hat....and she carries on for like 15 minutes or so until she calms down A little..

any advice moms!?

It may sound cruel but don't coddle her when she does it. Try 'ignoring' it and see if it subsides. And as much as I hate to say it, at least she's a sensitive girl ... boys get picked on alot more for that.... Give her time. she's still so young. If she's still doing it at 13, then you have more serious issues to deal with.

I think it is her age all of a sudden when my daughter turned 6 she was a different child she is 7 1/2 now and still sensitive but not as bad

is anything going on besides you getting married (that may be affecting her)
I had another child when she was 5 so I think that had alot to do with it

she has a sister who is 15 months younger then her, so i don't think it is it , that is bothering her!

I dont think the wedding is bothering her either cause she is so excited that her daddy and mommy are getting married AND she can be a flowergirl.
it could be that she started Kindergarten last year and is around a different group of people... i just dunno what it is... I try to ignore her and I dont give in to her as much as I use to cause that'll make it worse.

I even set up a 'reward' chart-if she does what she is told, without complaining and she has good days at summer camp-then she gets a sticker-after a certain amount of stickers each week, she gets rewarded on the weekend-this is working great with my youngest daughter-but not my 6 year old!

I didnt think raising girls would be so hard!

i know what you mean about 2 daughters.....my FSIL has 4 boys and they are no picnic
