my 9/13 wedding review
first off, i don't have any pics yet, sorry
i really don't have a lot to say b/c everything went absolutely perfectly. i couldn't have asked for anything better from any of my vendors. there were no mess-ups or anything. it was so great that i didn't have to think about any of the little details at all. in fact the worst part of the day was the weather. i'm still so disappointed that it rained. my day was great, but my dream wedding was outside so i'm a little sad the dream didn't come true. it also made the pics a little harder too b/c there weren't a lot of places we could take them.
two slight problems i had-
i ordered favors from godiva and somehow they miscounted and i only 110 instead of 130. lucky we caught the mistake on thursday and were able to pick up the others on friday. no big deal, imo.
we got our tuxes from men's warehouse and one guy's pants were the wrong size. but the mistake was corrected with plenty of time to spare so again, not a big deal imo.
here's a list of my vendors, if you have specific questions please fm me!
reception and ceremony- old field club
photo and video- ray o'connor (doug- photo, pete- video)
dj- in the mix (danny- dj, james- mc or maybe it was the other way around!)
flowers- flowers by susan
music for ceremony/cocktail hour- windstrum duo (flute and guitar)
limos/hotel shuttle- mayfair
favors- godiva
rehearsal dinner- three village inn
oot guest hotel- danfords
i'm sure i'm forgetting someone, but oh well.
our honeymoon was in kauai. we stayed at the sheraton. everything was great there. our room was almost on top of the beach and pool which was great. the only bad thing was i was sick all week. so we didn't get to do as much stuff as we wanted. but it did leave plenty of time for relaxing on the beach.
anyway as i said any questions let me know. i still can't believe it's all over, but in a way it's a relief that it is!
