So I ran to mom's house today to get today's responses and my niece wrote the most adorable note on the back of her RSVP. I can't wait to see her on New Year's Eve to reassure her that she will be fine. Mind you this was the same child who when choosing her dress came to the astute observation that 2 piece sets are not appropriate for not quite developed teens. She's 12. :

That's adorable, and I love the fact she wrote ' to be Uncle Ed'. She's seems very excited to be considered important enough to be a big part of your day!!

We got one of those holiday greeting card photos with my new niece on it, and on the back was written 'Aunt Janna and soon to be Uncle Andrew'. I thought it was the cutest thing.
