My Aruba review

Aruba was absolutely gorgeous and romantic!!!

We stayed at the Radisson. Partial Ocean view....you could see the sunset and ocean, it was just you had to look over the pool...no biggy at all. The rooms were nice and roomie and the staff was wonderful!

We went scuba diving! so worth it. They give you a quick lesson and then basically drop you 25 ft. it was crazy but so much fun. we saw so much!

We did the Jeep tour. Full day so we got snorkeling/open bar and lunch. We used DePalm Tours. Most people used them, but honestly you may be better off with some of the others b/c ours was real crowded. Just a thought.

Then one day we rented our own jeep on the search of the NAtural Pool. All off road. It was crazy...we had no idea what we were doing, but once we reached it, it was well worth it!!!

Restaurants:

Papiamento
FlyingFishbone
Madam Janets
Sunset Grille (Radisson)
Restaurant at Hyatt
Le Petit cafe

Definately make a reservation for FlyingFishbone early..so you can get a table on the beach at 6:30. The cab fair from the Radisson was over $50, so we rented the jeep on that day for $60...and then drove.

Dinner at the Hyatt was amazing.....so good and the tables are outside near the black swans.

All these restaurants came from O2 Bride and others, and I must thank you all b/c without those recommendations, I may never had gone to FlyingFishbone. WELL WORTH IT!

Jenn, yes I did, in fact it is right here next to my computer and I plan on packing that bible this week! I know a week, are you jealous? I can't wait, getting a little nervous for the first time though!!! How are you??

We are staying at the Radisson in Nov. for our honeymoon. We have a ocean/pool view, is that what you had? I am so glad to hear you loved it. Tell me, did you have to reserve your sun huts very early? My FI and I are not morning people, so I am wondering about that.

JennBaby,

I am your rivaling Aruba Authority. I have been there about 7 times. My mom has timeshare there (at Paradise Beach Villas) so I have never stayed in a hotel there. Last time I was there was 2000. I am so psyched about going back. Mike has never been there, so it will be fun to show him around. I agree with almost all your advice too. Isn't aruba awesome? Perfect honeymoon spot. :-)

wow someone whos been there more than me! i love love love it.
we may buy a timeshare on our honeymoon. my friends dad has one at LaCabana. We stayed in it the last time we went.
so i am on the money when i tell the ladies about aruba right?
lucky. you are going there next month and i have to wait till may lol

I have been going there since '92. Always with my parents! Sometimes with friends too, but a parental unit was always there. I did the Kuku Kunuku with my mom 2 years running!

I love it there. Where are you staying in May?

we didn't book it yet but it depends. if we go for two weeks, the Allegro because its allinclusive. if we go for one week, the Radisson. We loved the Radisson!
Thats sooo cool about doing the bus with your mom!!

I guess it must be cheaper to do all inclusive if you stay for 2 weeks, but with those awesome restaurants, won't you want to dine around?

we'd still dine around lol.
cant not go to el gauchoes, flying fishbone....etc lol. i mean for breakfast & lunch & drinks i think it'd be worth it.
lets see how long we go for depending on our jobs & wedding budget
