My idea is purple cardstock with silver or platinum ink.
I have not picked a menu yet though and just took items off of the Villa Lombardis and Giorgios menus.

Very nice.. I made some menu's and cd labels using publisher too.. I really like how they came out.. and Kate's Paperie in the city is having a HUGE sale ... you should check it out..

These are for 5 X 7 card stock but I can easily adjust it to fit any paper they have - only issue is the silver printing. Did you print on your own or have it all printed?

Actually my mom is printing them, because I will proabably go off-white card stock with red ink..
I think because your using purple with colored ink.. you would do better to get them printed.. ask Kinko's.. they might be able to do it..

Yeah, Bback ink would be fine to print on my own but I want to keep my dark purple and white/silver theme.

Publisher is a Microsoft product. It came with my Windows XP Professional software.

It's really easy. I even printed a test (two actually). I decided to go with purple background (which will be card stock once I buy it) and gray/silver ink. They came out nice both times (regular and bold). I will use the bold though - just easier to read I think.
