My August 3rd Wedding (LONG)
I have to say that my wedding day went perfectly. I have no complaints. Here`s a review of my vendors.
Reception-Westbury Manor. It was great. It didn`t rain so we had an outside cocktail hour which was beautiful. We had the Manor Room which had plenty of space. The food was great! As far as I can tell, the service was good. I didn`t get any complaints. The bridal attendant and maitre d` were very attentive.
Band-Timepiece. They were EXCELLENT. The dance floor was always packed. They really read the crowd. I can`t tell you how many people were raving to me about the band.
Flowers-Bunny`s Floral in Melville. We did not want to spend a fortune on flowers. They were very accomodating and worked with us in our budget. The flowers came out very pretty.
Limos-Phipps Limos. They were very good. They came on time and were very helpful.
Photographer and Videographer-Ariana Studios. They were really sweet and reasonably priced. I just picked up my proofs and they came out good.
Bridal gown-Elegant Bride in Albertson. Excellent! They were so nice. I had no problems. In fact I wrinkled my dress a couple of days before the wedding and they repressed it for me. I was really happy with them.
Bridesmaids dresses-Saymels. All the dresses came out beautiful. The only problem that I had was when the dresses came in. Two were tight and one didn`t fit. I think it is because they do free alterations. They ordered dresses that fit the girls in two of the areas they measure, but not the third. Therefore they were tight in that one area. They were able to let the dresses out so they fit, but only after I had to go back three times and considerable worry. So if you order from them, ask to see the size chart and your measurements. Insist that they order a dress that fits in all areas.
Honeymoon-Pleasant Hawaiian Holidays. We had a great time. Really relaxing.
