How can I include my aunt as part of my wedding?

I already have 3 readers. (I was thinking maybe I can ask our two friends to do it together) and ask my aunt to do the third. Is three readings too many? I feel like this whole ceremony is getting out of control lol.

Any thoughts on what else she can do?

We actually have to have 3 readers for our church ceremony.

Can she be your 'something blue'? Not totally sure on what it is but I've seen it on these boards.

Or maybe she can sign your marriage license?

Thanks for the suggestions. I was thinking something blue but I don't know what that entails - maybe handing out programs.

That or I was thinking of just giving her a corsage to wear the day of maybe a blue flower as my 'something blue'...

Handing out programs is not a bad idea! Why not have her march down the aisle? If she is important to you she can be one of the people to spot-light on your big day!

I made a friend my something blue. I asked her to wear a blue dress, she will be walking down the aisle and mentioned in the program. She is also going to be my witness to sign my marriage licence.

i made my very special aunt a reader; however, i also wanted to include her husband, so i'm having them both walk up the aisle as special family.
