My B-Party was last night!

Just a quick note about my b-party: we went to Mangia e Bevi first and had a lot of fun. It's just like you hear about - loud music, people getting up and dancing on chairs, shaking tambourines. It's silly and fun. I wanted to have a 'bachelorette' feel that my mom could still go to, and this was perfect. Our waiter came over towards the end of the night and did a little 'dance' with me and then put a shot glass filled with... I want to say bailey's? ... between his legs and made me do the shot. My mom later was like, 'goodness, I've never seen you like that!' It was funny. This picture pretty much sums it up:



Then we headed downtown and made it to 3 bars. It was Memorial Day Weekend so the City was pretty empty and we never had to wait for drunks. Plus, the City was crawling with sailors here for fleet week. Yummy.

Hmmm... well, I don't know how much I can share on a 'family' web site.

We were basically a couple of winos. My friend (and BM) alyson and I started drinking on the LIRR at 3:30:


And we finished the night... drinking in Penn Station at about 2 AM:


I love how we're all red-eyed, slumped over... but not defeated!

I've been called a lot of things in my life, but 'gorgeous toothpick' is a first!
