we just got back from the vet and my little baby girl has a hernia. the vet says not to worry but I am her mommy so I will definately worry. He says they will remove it when she is six months and gets spayed, but that seems like a long way off (shes only 3 months) I tried to do some research on the internet and I couldnt really find anything. Do any of you guys know anything about hernias and dogs? TIA

My Moms Dog has an umbilical hernia. It causes him no problems it just looks like he has an outy belly button! Don't worry.

Mine had this too, so while he was being neutered, they removed it.
It really is nothing to worry about
