my baby shower

was wonderful!

although we are CERTAIN we should name this little munchkin SNOW! We cancelled last weekend because of the storm, and honestly, this Sunday was even worse in Jersey! We had HEAVY thick (beautiful) snow!!! We moved the event to the downstairs room in the restaurant because we had less people coming, and I was really worried about that. But it was BEAUTIFUL. All decorated for Christmas with a fireplace going...it was so intimate...and EVERYBODY CAME!!!! I couldn't believe it! They all just kept trooping in. It was the most special day I can remember in a really long time.

My husband was incredible. They had cancelled the valet due to the weather and if anybody knows Hoboken they know what a disaster that could be. My DH stood out there with an umbrella and took everybody in and parked ALL the cars. He had brunch with my dad and my friends husband who had to be there because she is pregnant as well. He was such a trooper. (after a few bloody marys who isn't, right? ). I just fell in love with him a million times yesterday. As we were driving there and there were cars spinning all over the road he just kept singing Winter songs to the baby and telling her the story of her shower and how she is just a little snow bunny.

It was a special day. I get teary just thinking about it. I got wonderful things, wonderful belly rubs, tremendous compliments and well wishes...and more clothes than any baby girl could EVER wear.....

I am truly fortunate. It was wonderful. I will post pictures as soon I as have some.
