Talk about REALITY check! Hearing that was more satisfying than the sonogram picture! So steady!!! And loud!!
Beating at 160 - 13 weeks, gained 1.5 pounds from original weight. Those are my July stats!
We didn't measure my belly though....do your doctors do that? Maybe next time....
Anyway that little doppler thing was placed right under my belly button and PRESTO a second later my little swimmie was beating away to let me know he/she is really there!

you only gained 1.5 lbs? good for you. are you eating only veggies and fruits? no junk?
Hearing the heart beat makes you feel the baby is strong, I totally agree.

oh God no Michele! I am only drinking chocolate milk!
Lots of fruit (it's what I want - berries mostly) and tons of cheese. My appetite is only just starting to kick in - past few days. The doctor said it's fine....soon everything will taste good!!!
(did I mention Ben and Jerrys vanilla chocolate chunk with chocolate sprinkles?) That is my favorite dinner!

when are you due jenny? i also love choc. milk , but don't tell my midwife that watermelon and peaches are my summer fruit of choice.

due Jan 24th. (but of course I am convinced it will come earlier since my belly is a big ball already!)
Peaches - YUM. Best sliced in chunks, mixed with blueberries, sliced strawberries and nectarines ...tablespoon of sugar and let sit for an hour.
Of course...again this is best served over ice cream....
Watermelon is SO good for you right now! I wish I could stomach it!

Congrats Jenny. I remember when we first heard our little ones heart beat...it's so amazing. Glad to hear everything is going well.
