my bachelorette

Had my BP, Saturday night, and it was fun! I had gone for my makeup trial earlier that day and it wound up to be a great idea because it really made me feel like I looked special that night. Also, I fit into my 30 birthday pants, so I was happy about that, lol. We planned it for a month before the wedding because that's the only night that one of my BMs could make it bc of the police academy - although she got her schedule wrong and was only able to meet us at 1 am, it was good that she made it.
We drove into the city and stayed at a hotel in the west village. we were going to do the limo thing, but the hotel rooms were the same amt. of money, and it was cool to just sleep in the city and not have to worry about getting back to LI at the end of the night.
We went to NAKED BOYS SINGING (www.nakedboyssinging.com) at the Actors Playhouse. I thought this show was really good. Very much nuditiy, but it is not interactive or crude. The tix were about 35$ each. There are $65 seats in the first two rows, but I think our seats were just fine. I liked the show bc the boys were talented with great voices/dancing, and not just nude. Out of about 12 skits, 3 or so were very gay oriented, there is no touching or anythign, the skits just revolved around things that gays have to deal with. There were a lot of girls in the audience (I'd say 50%) but there is a gay element to the show, so if you're not comfortable with that I wouldn't suggest it. All in all it was better than I thought it would be and everybody was laughing and smiling the whole time.
After, we went to Cafe Wha? where I had reserved a table for 9:15., which is a necessity. We just ordered bar type food, mozz sticks, wings, etc. - if we had gone out to dinner we would have missed the seating. They started out with a really funny comedian from the comedy cellar next door. He was really good and had us rolling on the floor, but oddly enough he was very anti-bachelorette, and a little rude, which was weird. After that the Cafe Wha? band comes on, and they are just phenomenal. I felt like I was at a concert. The show ends at 11:00, but you can stay at the same table for the next show (different music, same band, no comedian) which is what we opted to do - I didn't want to wander around paying covers and stuff - and they had good sangria!) So we stayed and by 12 or so were totally dancing in the aisles along with everyone else. We stayed untili 4am. I would recommend it! The bill was $600 with the tip, for 8 of us, for food and drinking for 7 hours. This comes to about 85$ a person, which for all night in the city is good!
The next day we slept in and went to brunch. I had a really nice time and wanted to share! The only thing I feel bad about is that they had gotten me a bunch of stuff - like a lei with penis' all over it, and a veil with condoms on it - I hate that stuff and wouldn't wear it, I just couldn't. I wore the veil but made them take the condoms off...

Thats sounds like a great night out in the city!.......thanks for sharing, I think I will be checking out the Naked Boys Singing show soon too!
