My bachelorette party
Sorry i've been a little pre-occupied and haven't been around much since this weekend. Unfortunately no pictures yet since no one has sent any to me.
As soon as I get, i'll try and post.
We had a GREAT time on Sat. I was kinda sad to go back to reality on Sunday, especially because FHf was working and it was sooooo quiet in the apartment (then again if he were home he woulda been driving me nutso).
A few of us met at my cousins place and took the subway into the city. Dinner at Dips was fun but a little difficult. You know how I love my fondue but with around 10 people, it was kinda hard to share since we were in such a tight space. I would definetely recommend the restaurant if you have less people but I don't think that its really for such a large group (Melting Pot is still better IMO).
Then we went on to Awesome 80's. It was a lot of fun dancing around to the 80's music. I didn't really notice the show but there were plenty of HOT guys in it (we had a dare sheet but didn't really do much of it). The show started around 8 and ended around 10:30. We got the tickets that included drinks and I had quite a few. Admittedly more than I usually did but I did behave and did NOT get drunk. I really wish Culture Club were still around because we would have hung out after the show but being that i'm not really a club person my cousin didn't really plan very well because she thought I might want to stay at Webster Hall
Afterwards we went to find a lounge or somplace a little more quiet. We couldn't think of anything on the spot and the first place thought of was unfortunately closed for a bar mitzvah and we ended up walking around Union Square to try a few more places all of which had a ridiculous wait. We just ended up at Cosi. With all the dancing, sadly we were hungry again. We just hung out there for coffee and munched a little just talking and laughing. We left the city around 1 and were stuck waiting for the subway so we didn't get back to my cousins until after 2. A few people went right to sleep but we were up talking until around 4 and didn't get to bed until closer to 5. The sad part was that we were up by 9 for waffles.
