My bachelorette party was last night!
We had soooooo much fun! We started out the night at BK Sweeney's (local bar) for dinner and then went back to my place to catch the limo (Cruise Control Limo) and then headed to the city. We first ended up at NY Stand Up Comedy Club which I thought was amazing. All of the comics were hilarious and then we ended up at Culture Club. I am in my 30's so I absolutely loved Culture Club's music. My friends brought me a plain veil b/c they knew I would not wear penises on my head all night long (that was the other choice) and I also had a penis whistle to blow during the night and wore a sash that lit up that said Bride to Be. Oh yeah, they brought me mints which were called peppermint peckers. I must say, they were very tasty and I am disappointed that I left them in the limo at the end of the night. ![]()
They tried pretty hard to get me drunk and at first I resisted b/c I wasn't feeling well but it only took one drink (Stoli Raspberry and cranberry juice) at Culture Club and I was drunk... Yes, I am a cheap date. LOL. I felt like I was 21 again and just enjoyed the moment soooo much.
I had one of the best night of my lives. My girlfriends are amazing! The last hour of the night we ended up at another local bar which we go to often called Jackie Reilly's in Levittown and I was called up on stage by the lead singer of the band that was playing. I really had a great time!
I don't have any pics yet b/c we took them with a disposable camera but when I get them, I plan on scanning them in.
ETA: Cruise Control Limo was so awesome. The man was here 20 minutes early and was so amazing when one of my friends was passing out. He drove her home towards the end of the night when she told him she was not feeling well. Thank goodness for that. They really did an excellent and outstanding job. I would recommend them to anyone. I am also using them for my wedding day so I will review them after that as well.
