MY BC IS MISSING!

MY BC IS MISSING!

no, not birth control (haven't been on that in years).. my birth CERTIFICATE is missing...

I had THREE (3), tres, trio, Drei, and however else you wanna say it.. but yes, THREE copies. (back when I was a sr in high school)

one for me, mom and dad... well mine is ***.. I kinda knew that already, it was in my old wallet and was torn.. my mother says my father has mine, he says she does... meanwhile they would both put it in the same spot and I specifically got THREE of them so at least one of us would have it.

so now I have to get another one....

could I get my birth cert on the same day i get my marriage license? cause I have to get my cert at town hall anyway... I just can't take off of work TWO days to go to the same place.

I could order it online, my parents did that with theirs recently, but its more money.

URGH!!!

Sorry to crash on this but FH recently went through this - he just went to the Hempstead Town Hall and they printed him a new one.

ITA

DH and I did it and it was somewhat 'quick' for a town office and painless.

Good luck!!

Mine was too. I was born in the Bronx. I had it sent in 3 days via VitalChex.

You should be able to. It may be two different offices (that was the case at Islip Town Hall).
