my best friend

is looking for a job that doesn't have too many strings attached - she lives in brooklyn, is used to working in the city.

she just left a job at NYU in Alumni development and is looking for something before she starts her PhD program in the fall (hopefully).

she's done a lot of non-profit work.

i work at the NY Botanical Garden in the bronx...so the first thing that pops into my head are Brooklyn Botanical Garden or the Aquarium. Both are non profits and typically they like knowing you worked for one previously

I work for a non-profit in Queens---Queens Community House. Very flexible environment. I think they are hiring a counselor but bilingual Spanish is a requirement.
