My BIG news
I mentioned a few weeks ago that I had some good news to share but neglected to say anything out of paranoia.
Two weeks ago I gave notice and TODAY, I started a new AND permanent job!!!!!!!
The good news is that its better pay and the benefits start immediately. Plus, i'll get holidays!!!
Unfortunately my commute will change but its not too far, only 12 miles (most of which is on the LIE which means terrible rush hour traffic) I'll see tomorrow how the commute will be since today was not the holiday, there was no traffic. My parents are excited and said 'now i can move closer to them.'
The bad news, I probably won't be around as much (though i really haven't been around too much lately). I'm in a pretty much wide open, public area and anyone can walk over and see what i'm doing at ll times. There's no privacy at all. I'm hoping this will be changing since they're building a new office area with cubicles.
I am sooooooooooo excited!!!!!
