UGH. I really wasn't feeling bad about turning 30 this friday until EVERY person I mention it to is like 'oh, big birthday' 'Oh no more 20s' 'Oh you're getting old!' AHHH!!

I felt the exact same way....everything was fine and then my 'FRIENDS' made me feel like @ss!!!! hahah Well...in all honesty, I'm actually enjoying being 30! No more of that insecurity of my 20s, I am my own woman now

when i turned 30, my sister sent me a dozen black roses and 'over the hill' mylar balloons.............to my CLASSES when I went back to school!

Heather, I told you how I reacted on my 30th. I know exactly how you feel.

But it isn't so bad, and if you have a really good time (unlike my sad bday party where no one showed up ) it will be even better. Make it a blast and you will forget your name, no less that it's your 30th.

Happy almost birthday!!! I swear I know what ya mean...I just turned 31 this Monday...scary, but it truly does feel like any other birthday, just as 30 did last year...I hear your 30's are the best...we'll see Enjoy your day!!!

A little part of me wishes I was doing something fun, and a big part of me is glad to just to be doing nothing like going to dinner or something low key. Whatever. I had no issues w/my bday until ppl started commenting at work and what not!! Bastids.
