We had so much fun...it was chilly and overcast...but the clouds were so high that they didn't not ruin the view...

the white in the background is the ocean...and if you look at the middle road crossing the highway...there is a dark patch...thats our complex where we live
don't mind my hair here...
this guy in the house took his kids out to see us and wave at us...we landed 100 ft from his house...
we landed on a highway under construction...
if you guys ever get a chance...its so much fun!!! the company also got me a birthday cake!!! they were so nice...we had chamgagne and cheese and crackers afterwards...

the landing was a bit 'rough'...and I thought we were going to spill out on our faces...but our pilot says that never happens...that the balloon will keep you from tipping over...
our pilot let the balloon deflate quite a bit...obviously you had the better pilot! I'd do it again in a heartbeat though, crash landing and all.
I thought I was going to hit the ground with my face...
I think it all depends where the spot to land is...they don't have much of a choice...so maybe he saw a spot and decided to go for it...
I thought we were going to crash into some houses though...

that was exactly the situation - it was land here and now or cross the Hudson River we kind of skidded down some trees (ouch) and the guy who's field we landed in was NOT happy to see us...he told us we should have asked for permission first

yeah our pilot said that a lot of people don't like them...
where we took off from is $2million houses...so they are starting to complain...since filling up the balloons make noise..
personally...the balloons fly over our place all the time and I love it...we used to have jets so the balloons are a pleasant change...I love the noise now of the flame heating the air!!!
