My birthday party....

I just got back from my birthday brunch with my DH, sister and parents. At brunch I got a Joan Jett shirt (I loved her back in the day!) and an invitation to an 80's party tonight! It's for me!

All I was told that I need to dress up like back in the 80's and be ready at 7pm! That's all I know for now but I am so excited!

What should I wear? DH went to run some errands (I assume for tonight) so I asked him to pick me up a scrunchy! My mom also gave me Baggies socks to wear if I want (don't ask me why she still has them ) I can't wait until tonight!

I remember in the '80's 'Champion' being popular (both shirts and sweatshirts)
I can't think of anything else as to what to wear.

All I remember from the 80's were those horrible plastic circles that you would pull your tee shirt through to make a knottie at your hip

Hope you had a great time!

My party was awesome! It ended up being at my parents house. There were 80's movie posters hung all over the house and all my friends were dressed like in the 80's! We played 80's music all night and danced like we were back in the 80's (breakdancing and all!)They even had candy from back in the 80's (pop rocks, nerds and fun dip). My sister and DH put it all together and really did a great job!

I have the pics from my sister's camera for now. I will download mine later today and add them. It was such a great idea for a party (we even had Atari to play on the TV!)

He will be so happy to hear you say that! All he wanted to do was dress like an 80's rock star! He is so much fun!

The party was such a great idea and everyone had so much fun with it. I didn't want it to end! I was told they even had Tab on order but it got messed up when they tried to ship it.

Thanks for the compliment too! Everyone always tells me I look young! Now that I am getting older, I enjoy hearing it!
