My Black Cloud may be going away?!
I am really bored, so I will bore you with this tale of woe![]()
Three weeks ago a lady backs into my fairly new truck in the church parking lot. No biggie, she says she will take care of it, it's all her fault, etc. etc. A week later her insurance company calls...I haven't even taken the truck for an estimate yet! and asks some questions and then they tell me that it's only a 50/50 payoff cuz we were in a parking lot.
Then, last wednesday, I am leaving work and a taxi driver hits me as I am making a left. He was driving down a turning lane to catch a light a block away. Needless to say, the cop tells me that he was definitely wrong, but if I go through insurance I will be wrong cuz I was making a left. The damage is not horrible, about $500, so I am NOT telling my insurance company.
So, take the car to auto body, am told it will cost me $600 to fix if I pay cash and not to worry cuz the original ladies insurance will probably figure the damage at $700 to $800 half of which will be around $400, so it's only going to cost me $200 max. RIGHT!! Estimation comes out at $500, so now it's costing me $350...at least.
And the GRAND FINALE, I meet a friend of mine in Pt. Lookout for a drink and dinner and someone steals my bag!! Right off the chair!!(I had walked away for a minute). Thankfully, there wasn't much cash, but of course I have to call every CC and cancel and order a new Driver's License. Plus, my Louis Vuitton wallet is gone, which I had for like 10 years.
Ok, so the bright side is, my bag arrives in the mail today, with the wallet, some CC's missing, but whatever.
I just had to get this one out, I feel like 'What could possible happen now?'
