My BM dresses are wrong! Can I sell them?

Long story, but I ordered my girls' dresses in the wrong color. I'm really upset because now I have to change my entire color scheme for bouquets, centerpieces, guys' vests and ties, etc. from red to purple (and I HATE purple!!!).
I'm thinking about buying all new dresses, but I'd like to recover some of the money I'm losing by selling the dresses. Has anyone had luck using EBay or something else to sell bridesmaids dresses?
Do you have any other suggestions? I've already tried EVERYTHING with the store, and there's nothing they can do because the manufacturer already cut the fabric. Please help!

if you hate purpole why did you order them in purple?????????????????????

i would try and sell them on ebay or even on here
maybe you can cover the cost of the purple ones and have the girls pay for their own new ones and then try and sell them

you can try posting the designer and the sizes you have avaliable...you never know who might need something like that...even if you can sell 2 or 3 ...it's better than nothing

I ended up with purple instead of red because I relied on the dress manufacturer's web site for the color guidelines. I was in a rush so I placed my order before I got the swatch in the mail (my store didn't have a swatch in the store). On the web site, 'merlot' looked red, but in person it looks more like purple. Now I realize I wanted something more like the color 'claret'.
Thanks for the suggestions - I'll definitely try Ebay and this site for selling the dresses. I took a quick look at Ebay, and there are tons of girls trying to sell theirs but nobody's buying! Oh well, it can't hurt to try.....
